Iya Villania is about to return to 24 Oras studio in 2022 after working from home for almost two years.
The 35-year-old Kapuso mom is the news program’s resident host for “Chika Minute.”
Feeling a bit nostalgic, she put out on some of her work-from-home moments via Instagram.
One photo showed how her three kids—Primo, Leon, and Alana—became her audience while she was doing on-cam work.
Remember when she did her hosting duty in pambahay floral shorts and with one slipper?
This was “exposed” by her husband Drew Arellano in April 2021.
There was also a video taken by Drew.
Again, Iya was clad in pambahay shorts, but on TV, she looked all glammed up.
She also seemed smiling on cam, but her body was actually beginning to shake with mirth because of Drew’s antics.
The last video was about multi-tasking.
The mother of three was cuddling her little girl Alana while delivering her report.
Of course, Alana was not seen on the camera!
In her caption, Iya was grateful for being able to juggle her duties as a host and as a mom.
She wrote on her Instagram post, “As I end my WFH stint I just want to thank @gmanews @gmanetwork for giving me the opportunity to be able to work safely from home over the past (almost) 2yrs! It’s been such a blessing to be able to do so in the comfort (and chaos) of my own home.
“I have to admit, I will terribly miss my family. The cries, screams, breastfeeding, cuddles, kisses during commercial breaks, and a husband poking my [butt] while I try to maintain composure on air – won’t be getting that in the studio.
“But the hairstyling, dressing up from top to toe (with no missing slipper) and the clear line between work and family is something to welcome back in 2022. It was an awesome run and seriously, who would’ve thought this was even possible?!? Let’s pray cases don’t get out of control again so we can get some sense of normalcy back. 2022, let’s go!!! #WFH #LifeWithTheArellanos”
Iya is yet to announce the exact date of her return to the 24 Oras studio.
